Tecuani (aka, cat-people)
They are the walking jaguars from the jungles below the Heitepetl Mountains. They grab onlookers' fearful and lustful gazes as easily as they grab prey with their claws. They are the powerful, stealthy, vigorous Tecuani.
Having spread out from their native Mochihuacan, Tecuani can be found all over Sai in almost as many varieties as humans. And like their furless counterparts, Tecuani tend to form small family groups, and need to be convinced to see some larger sense of "we." And some never do. Often Rogues, Trappers, or Pochteca, the Tecuani are lone wanderers just as often as they are not. But the trust and faith gained by those few who put in the stalwart effort will find there is no better friend or stronger ally. Replaces Tiefling - click here to see traits |
Unique Spell
Begin the Hunt
To perform this cantrip, you need to decide something or someone you want to hunt, and have an item that carries their scent.
Upon performing this cantrip, you inhale your prey's scent and become absorbed with pursuing them, becoming unable to speak for the duration of the spell. You pick up on their scent trail (which appears like a linear, whisper of light) and are consumed with the urge to follow it and hunt whoever lays at its end.

- If you find your target within the duration of the spell, then roll a concentration save. If you fail the save, you automatically attack the prey.
- After performing this cantrip, you need a short rest before you can perform it again.
- This cantrip can only be performed three times per day.
- If this cantrip is performed three times in a day, you take one point of exhaustion for the duration of that day and the day following your next long rest.
